【 英國藝術家 Rob Unett 】

Rob Unett is a rare artist whose artistic language works well with famous fashion designers, such as Gucci, Prada, and many others, and at the same time, attracts many art aficionados. I collected mainly his art drawings, and frankly, I love his fashion drawings too. What I see is a free spirit transformed into an artistic language.
Rob Unett’s works present to us a world of contradictions: delicate lines and violent patches, controlled brushstrokes on the verge of bursting loose, lively colours in poignancy, human figures in abstraction, and flimsy solitary existence containing fervent emotions.
In 2018, I came to know his works when my student asked where she could frame her newly acquired works from her former fashion drawing teacher in the UK: Rob Unett. I checked his IG and my jaw dropped, love at first sight! Usually, I only like a few selected works of an artist. However, I loved most of his works. His unusual ease of expressiveness is captivating! I see his fluent precise articulation as in Chinese ink painting depicting essence in its dynamic form. He exploits different techniques: sharp lines, washes, slashes, collage, destruction, construction, etc. creating forever new unique figures!
Despite all his contradictory expressions/representations, one thing lies consistent: his truthfulness! Rob is true to his immediate uncalculated feelings which set him free in his boundless creative world. We are all limited by our similar physiological body but all our souls are unique! Is Rob depicting every new soul in his picture or expressing his own unique soul through a body of figures?

2018 年，當我的學生問我可以在哪裡將她從英國前時裝繪畫老師 Rob Unett 那裡獲得的新作品裝框時，我開始對他的作品感興趣。我查了一下他的IG，驚得下巴都掉下來了，一見鍾情！通常我只喜歡一位藝術家的一些精選作品，但出奇地，我很喜歡他的大部分作品。他異常輕鬆的表現力令人著迷！我看到他流暢而精確的表達，就像中國水墨畫一樣，以動態的形式描繪世界的本質。他利用不同的技術：銳利的線條、水洗、拼貼、破壞、構造等，創造出永遠新生的獨特人物！
儘管他的表達/表述充滿矛盾，但有一件事是一致的：真實！Rob忠於他直接的、未經計算的情感，這讓他在無限的創意世界中獲得自由。我們都受到相似的生理身體的限制，但我們所有的靈魂都是獨一無二的！Rob是在畫中描繪每一個新的靈魂，還是通過一組人物來表達自己獨特的靈魂？
